Timber and Land Purchasing
Are you interested in selling your timberland or your timber? Call or email us for a free inspection. Together we will walk through your woodland and talk about your goals and objectives. Our forester will then give you an evaluation of your harvest potential. We will explain exactly what is involved in a timber harvest, based on your situation and objectives. The next step is for the forester to go through your woodland and put a paint mark on each tree to be harvested. Each tree is measured for volume and evaluated for quality. This allows you to see exactly which trees are to be cut, and allows us to give you the best price for your timber. The details of the harvest and the terms of the contract will be discussed. When all is agreed, we will sign the contract and make a down payment. The remainder of the contract price is normally paid before the harvest begins.

Timber Harvesting
Our professional logging crews are trained under a national quality standard known as "Sustainable Forestry Initiative". A properly conducted timber harvest will greatly increase your satisfaction with the end result. This includes directional felling to avoid hitting residual trees, proper layout of loading areas and trails, erosion control measures, and proper site retirement.
